House of Hope is in need of dedicated Christian volunteers to serve in Nicaragua and in the U.S. Please see current openings below.
This position involves management and distribution of House of Hope funds including but not limited to: auditing, tracking all accounts; reconciling of accounts, grant and other report preparation. This position is one of great trust. Intermittent travel to Nicaragua and a letter of recommendation speaking to the applicant's accounting skills is required.
Love missions? Want to help us? We need someone to co-ordinate buyers and sellers of jewelry and cards made by House of Hope’s residents and Tuesday Morning Program attendees. Potential clients could be jewelry stores, Christian book stores, Bible study groups, and gift stores including mom & pop shops. Also, groups involved in fund raising could do so buying our earrings in quantity and re-selling them. It is a win-win endeavor. This position is a commission only position. It would require living in the United States with one trip to Nicaragua every two years. No Spanish required.
VOLUNTEER GRANT WRITER
We are looking for a researcher who not only finds the funding organization whose grants match with the HOH mission, but also is a writer who knows how to properly appeal to the funding organizations board.
Excellent written communication skills
Ability to understand the needs of both the HOH and the organization that is offering the grant money — and tell a compelling story.

VOLUNTEER ONSITE RESIDENTIAL DIRECTOR
- COCHABAMBA BOLIVIA
We are in exciting times at House of Hope International, and our work in Bolivia is expanding. We are looking for a resident intern willing to live onsite at our safe-house for victims of sexual trafficking in Cochabamba, Bolivia.
Key skills / abilities:
Compassion, wisdom & patience with residents' recovery process
Ability to flow with the ministry of the Holy Spirit, including inner healing & deliverance
Balance & spiritual maturity, honoring others at all levels of relationship
Spanish strongly preferred (if not, Spanish language classes would be mandatory to facilitate communication with women participating in ministry programs.)
Minimum one year commitment.
Responsibilities would include:
Monitoring activities (coming & going to work, medical appointments, etc.) and providing ministry support for up to 4 women and their children who live onsite
Leading daily devotions and providing spiritual ministry as needed for resident women recovering from sex trafficking (may include some substance abuse issues)
Helping resident families to plug in to the local church (about 2 to 3 blocks away)
May involve helping women to lovingly care for their children
Housing (private room with access to your own kitchen and shared bathroom facilities) is provided, as well as spiritual covering by nearby local church and city ministry director. Resident volunteer would cover their own food, travel, and other expenses (including Spanish language classes, if needed).
