Stateside and Virtual Volunteer Opportunities 

ACCOUNTANT

  • This position involves management and reporting of House of Hope funds including but not limited to: Complete 990 (annually in a timely manner), auditing, board, grant, and other report preparation. This position is one of great trust. A letter of recommendation speaking to the applicant's accounting skills is required.

PRODUCT SALES 

  •   Do you love missions?  Want to help House of Hope?  We need to sell jewelry, cards, and other products made by House of Hope attendees. Potential clients could be jewelry stores, bookstores, Bible study groups, and gift shops.  Also, groups involved in fundraising could buy our earrings in quantity and re-sell them… a win-win endeavor!  This is a volunteer or commission-only position for someone who lives in the United States. No Spanish is required.

VIDEO EDITORS

  • You can be a crucial part in sharing the stories of transformation happening at House of Hope. No experience is necessary, and training will be provided. Your work as a video editor would be to clip mistakes and repetition, overlay English audio over interviews done in Spanish, and make the video presentable for all social media platforms.

International Volunteer Opportunities 

Due to the nature of the ministry at House of Hope, some positions must be filled by women. Please note that you will be responsible for raising the full amount of your support while working with House of Hope.

VOLUNTEER ONSITE RESIDENTIAL DIRECTOR
- COCHABAMBA, BOLIVIA 

We are in exciting times at House of Hope International, and our work in Bolivia is expanding. We are looking for a resident intern willing to live onsite at our safe house for girls and adolescent victims of sexual trafficking in Cochabamba, Bolivia.

Key skills/abilities:

  • Compassion, wisdom & patience with residents' recovery process.

  • Ability to flow with the ministry of the Holy Spirit, including inner healing and deliverance.

  • Balance & spiritual maturity, honoring others at all levels of relationship.

  • Spanish strongly preferred (if not, Spanish language classes would be mandatory to facilitate communication with those participating in ministry programs.)

  • Minimum two-year commitment.

Responsibilities would include:

  • Monitoring activities (coming & going to school, medical appointments, etc.) and providing ministry support.

  • Leading daily devotions and providing spiritual ministry as needed for residents (may include some substance abuse issues.)

  • Helping resident's families to plug into the local church ( 3 blocks away.)

  • May involve helping the young moms to lovingly care for their infants or preschoolers.

 

Housing:

 A private room with access to a kitchen and shared bathroom facilities is provided, as well as a spiritual covering by a nearby local church and local ministry director.  The resident volunteer would cover their own food, travel, and other expenses (including Spanish language classes if needed).
